Beware Toto toilets are junk!
We purchased a home 1 year ago with 3 Toto extremely low flush toilets. The home was freshly remodeled and the toilets were brand new. All three toilets are junk. They barely flush at all. If you blow your nose and throw a tissue in it can sometimes take three flushes just for a tissue. I really dont think a toilet that requires 3 flushes for a tissue saves that much water. I dont understand why other reviews have been so favorable. These are the worst toilets Ive ever owned. Im ready to junk all three of these $450 toilets in favor of a $150 American Standard or Kohler that works. :2010-09-15 05:25:42
More shipping issues
The one star rating is for shipping issues. Like others here the first one was broken. I took a chance and had them send another one. I just talked to the shipper and the second one is also broken. It will obviously be refused as well.
I see they now have a note on the site indicating its no longer available due to shipping issues. I also ordered a Kohler two piece (3609) through Amazon. It will be interesting to see its conditions when it arrives. Perhaps one piece toilets dont lend themselves to withstand the shipping method they currently are using.

Toto is a good line and I have them in all my bathrooms. The Ultramax is a fine toilet and after 3 years it continues to work fine (Soiree also good). The Sanigloss however is a huge scam. Do NOT get it. It actually makes it harder to clean the bowl. Toto should have done a recall on Sanigloss a long time ago. Thank goodness I only got it on one toilet. :2010-09-15 05:25:42
wish I could have tried this toilet.
I really cant give a proper review for this Toto toilet. It looked great and I loved all the features especially the sani guard but when we opened the box 3 days after it arrived the bottom of the toilet was broken off on both sides. Amazon was great and sent out a replacement because I really wanted this. When the replacement arrived we opened the box right away and had to refuse shipment because the replacement was broken also. I needed a toilet so I didnt want to try again. Amazon credited our account without a problem right away and we had to buy a toilet locally. I am not sure whose fault the broken toilets were.I would have to place the blame on Toto for not having any packing in the bottom of the box and then the shippers who probably dropped it too hard either from a forklift or someone tried to carry it.
